Jeannette N. Hill
Owner - Funeral Director
Jeannette became the sole owner of Hill & Son Funeral Home in 2009 following the death of her late husband Rick Hill, and along with operating the funeral home serves as the music teacher for Appleton City School district. She moved to the community in 1984 and has been involved with graphic design, accounting, and funeral home management since joining the Hill family in 1985.

David A. Hill, Ph.D.
General Manager - Funeral Director - Pastor
David is a native son of the Appleton City area and has been actively involved with Hill & Son Funeral Home throughout his life, becoming a licsenced funeral director in 2009 at the age of 20. He is a graduate of Missouri State University, Duke Divinity School, and the University of Kansas, where he earn his Ph.D. in Church History. Dave became the general manager of Hill & Son Funeral Home in 2016, being the third generation of his family to serve the community. Along with this, he teaches history at Missouri State University and is the pastor of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in the local area.

David is a native son of the Appleton City area and has been actively involved with Hill & Son Funeral Home throughout his life, becoming a licsenced funeral director in 2009 at the age of 20. Office Manager - Apprentice Funeral Director
Jennifer grew up in the Appleton City area, graduating from Appleton City High School in 1994. She proudly served her country in the United States Navy until 2001. After the end of her service, she earned a degree in business management from Longview College. She began a career at Hill & Son Funeral Home in 2020, where she serves as the office manager and performs a host of administrative duties. Jennifer is currently working toward professional licensure as a funeral director.

Funeral Associate - Pastor
Jerry has lived his entire life in the Appleton City area, where he graduated from High School. He then earned a bachelor and Master Degree from the University of Central Missouri. After retirement, he joined the staff of Hill & Son Funeral Home in 2011 and performs a variety of roles in his service to our families. He has also been the pastor to host of churches in Appleton City area, and continues activly preaching as a lay speaker.

Tony Reynolds
Funeral Associate - Pastor
Tony came to Appleton City in 2005, serving as the pastor of the Christian Church. He began helping with funeral services shortly after this and continues doing so long as his health allows. He remains a vital member of the staff in person and in an advisory capacity.
