Zenda Gwen Schell daughter of Rollin and Gwen Schell was born on December 26, 1960 at Wetzel Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. She passed away peacefully on June 13, 2011 at St Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Zenda lived with her parents until June 3, 1999 when she moved to a group home in Nevada, Missouri. She attended the Disciples of Christ Christian Church in Nevada, Missouri. Every Sunday morning she would walk the one block to church from her group home. Zenda loved the people at her group home and considered them her family.

Zenda did sports when she was younger and continued participating in them after she moved to Nevada. She loved showing people the large bucket of medals and 106 ribbons she had won over the years.

Zenda is survived by her parents Rollin and Gwen Schell of Appleton City, Missouri, two brothers Jerry and wife Janice Schell of Chanute, Kansas, Dale Schell of Roscoe, Missouri, and one sister Lexye Schell and fiancé Errich Oberlander of Raymore, Missouri; seven nephews Dusty Schell, Damon Schell, Darren Schell, Seth Davis, Trent Schell, Travis Schell and Tray Schell; one niece Shea Davis and four great-nephews.
