Wilma Knox Love Eckhoff, 84, was born May 26, 1928 in Altoona, Iowa to John Edwin and Nellie (Riley) Knox. She departed this life August 1, 2012 at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri.

Wilma was united in marriage to Clifford Love June 5, 1946 and to this union five children were born. Wilma married Oscar Eckhoff August 1, 1972. Wilma worked at the Appleton City Hardware Store and Ellett Memorial Hospital. She also helped Oscar run the Eckhoff Funeral Home until his retirement.

Wilma enjoyed bowling with the ladies league. She was never without a friendly smile and had a wonderful, infectious laugh. She was always there for anyone who needed her help. Wilma was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton City.

Preceding Wilma in death were her parents; her husband Oscar; five brothers; two sisters; a step-daughter, Beverly Belew; a step-grandchild, Debbie Belew; and one step-great-grandchild, Dillon Eckhoff. Survivors include her children: Pat Jones, Diana Love, Austin and Phyllis Love, Dan and Susie Love, and Bill and Barb Leiber; step-son Jim and Myrna Eckhoff; grandchildren: Chad Burton, Daniel Burton, Jason Jones, Mindy Garton, Rena Vanderpool, Justin Love, Branson Love, Brock Love, Tara Love, Leia Love, Emma Love, Wes Leiber, Ozzie Leiber and Kelsey Knight; step-grandchildren: Barbara Johnson, Ronda Strope, Rod Belew, Tad Eckhoff and Marzee Eckhoff; great-grandchildren: Zoe, Zack, Caden, Deacon, Declan and Elliott; step-great–grandchildren: Kelly, Ryan, Shelly, Adam, Erin, Jamie, Tanner, and Michelle; step-great-great-grandchildren: Tyler, Addison, Brock, Sidney, Griffin and Emma.
