Wilda Frances Allinson, 91 of Appleton City, Missouri, formerly of El Dorado Springs passed away on Thursday April 24, 2008 at the Appleton City Manor.

Wilda was born December 28, 1916, the second child of Warner and Julia Ann (Burke) Allinson. They lived in the Mount Zion area, east of Rockville, Missouri.

She and Everett Dody shared 45 years of marriage, farming in the Appleton City area. After selling out to the coal company they moved to El Dorado Springs. Later she was married to Thomas A. Williamson of Adrian for a short time. She spent the remainder of her life in Appleton City, the last six months at the Countryside Estates.

She enjoyed gardening and made many beautiful quilts and did outstanding embroidery work. She loved shopping and playing Skip Bo by the hours with her sister. Cats were the love of her life and she fed many feral cats of the neighborhood.

Wilda is survived by a devoted sister Neola M. Everson, a niece Charlyne and husband Charles Miller, two nephews and spouses, 1 great nephew, 4 great nieces and special friends Laurel and Phyllis Talbot.
