Velma Frances Johannigmeier, 88, daughter of William and Ethel Pringry (Powell) Blackman, passed away on November 5, 2010 in Loveland, Colorado.

Velma was born on November 21, 1921 in Ohio, Missouri. She married William A. Johannigmeier on September 14, 1940 in Appleton City, Missouri. Velma and William relocated to Loveland, Colorado in 1963. Velma spent her career working for Hewlett-Packard as a material handler.

Velma was a woman of Christian faith. She had a love for animals and nature and saw a unique beauty in everything that she experienced.

Velma is survived by her loving daughter, Carol A. Johannigmeier of Ft. Collins, Colorado; double cousin, Marjorie F. Potter of Peoria, Illinois, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
