Travis Heath Schiereck was born on January 26, 1972 the son of Roger Dale and Thresa Irene (Barbour) Schiereck.  He passed away peacefully at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 16, 2023 aged 51. Travis grew up in the Appleton City area, where he graduated from high school in 1990. He also completed an associate's degree State Fair Community College. After completing his education, he worked many jobs, finishing his career at Church and Dwight in manufacturing.

Travis had a wonderful sense of humor and was always willing to help those in need. His children and family were the pride of his life. Additionally, he was a great listener, encourager, and would pray for anyone that needed it. Travis enjoyed tinkering with all sorts of things and got great joy out of scrapping metal.

He is survived by his wife Sandy Anderson; five children: Karl, Isaac, and Rachel Schiereck and Brenton Floyd and Iva Boles; his parents, Roger and Thresa Schiereck; two brothers: Jarrod (Amanda) Schiereck and Brett (Valarie) Schiereck; five nieces and nephews: Avery and Reese Schiereck, and Tessa, Taylan, and Trace Schiereck; along with many cousins and good friends, who will miss him dearly.
