Terre Rae Tush was born on October 21, 1942 the daughter of Fredrick and Genevieve (Bassett) Johnson.  She passed away peacefully at her home on December 16, 2020, age 78.  She spent her formative years in the Kansas City area, graduating from Westport High School in 1959.  Shortly after completing her education, Terre began a career as an administrative assistant, working for many companies in many places, including Hawaii.

Along with this, she met and later married Robert Tush on October 13, 1990, her husband of 30 years.  To this union, five children were shared: Becky, Pam, Heather, Malia, and Julie.  Terre was devoted to her family, who were the most important thing in the world to her, especially her grandchildren.  Terre's most cherished activity was knitting afghans and dish clothes, which she freely gave to friends and neighbors.  Apart from this, reminiscing about times spent in Hawaii and being her husband Bob's dearest friend were among her most enjoyed activities.  She dearly loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor.  Terre will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Terre was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Genevieve (Bassett) Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; her five children: Becky, Pam, Heather, Malia, and Julie (Doug) Prcin; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and good friends.
