Sharon Sue (Miller) Allis, 78, was born May 1, 1945 to Donald and Ruby Hunt in Jackson County Missouri.  Later, at age 2, she was adopted by her father Leonard C. Miller.  She attended St. Stanislaus School for her elementary years and graduated from Ursuline Academy in Paola, KS in May of 1962.

Following high school she went to work for National Bellas Hess and later Black Sivills & Bryson working with computers.  During this time she met Gene Allis and they married July 3, 1965 settling in the Kansas City area.  To this union were born five children.  After living in the Kansas City area, they purchased a small farm near Lebanon, MO.  After living there a short while, they settled in Appleton City, and Sharon remained there for the rest of her life.

Sharon was a faithful member of the Roman Catholic Church her whole life and Gene joined the church in the mid-seventies as well.  Sharon loved to read, study geneology, watch her favorite mystery shows and spend every moment possible with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and friends.

Sharon was always a people person, could talk to anyone as well as help out anyone in need.  There were even a few years where there were "extras" living in the home as she wouldn't turn away someone in need.

Sharon opened and ran a flower shop attached to the family home for several years.  Later she and Gene remodeled and opened "Allis' Restaurant" for a few years.  Later in life, she enjoyed visiting with locals by helping at her daughter and son-in-law's local restaurant.  Right up to her last days were spent watching great-grandchildren and working on geneology with family.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ruby "Bea" Miller as well as her brother Donald C. Miller.

Sharon is survived by her husband Alan Eugene of the home, daughter Shawn (Russell) Graham of Laddonia MO, daughter Karen (Matt) Cochran of Butler MO, daughter Vickie (Eric) Christie of Appleton City MO,  son William "Scott" (Becky) Allis of Eldridge MO, daughter Eva (Steve) Hendrickson of Nixa MO, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
