Shanna Lynn McEvoy, daughter of Roy and Beverly (Pierce) Taylor, was born August 31, 1961 in Gardena, California. She departed this life November 11, 2006 at her home in Appleton City, Missouri 45 years of age.
Shanna served four years in the United States Navy, and she worked as an EMT at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City in the 1990's. She was also a fulltime mother with five children to raise. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and had a hobby of making beautiful stained glass pieces. Shanna and Gary McEvoy were united in marriage December 19, 1997 in Germantown, Missouri.
Preceding Shanna in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband, Gary McEvoy of the home; her five children: Courtney Snyder of Appleton City, Richard Snyder of Springfield, Missouri, Andrew Snyder, Ryan Snyder and Will McEvoy all of Appleton City; two granddaughters, Kiley Johnson of Appleton City and Kaitlyn Snyder of Carthage, Missouri; and one brother, James Jeffrey Taylor of Idaho.
Shanna will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
