The FUNERAL MASS for Mr. Munsterman will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montrose, Missouri on Monday, June 8, 2015  at 11:00 a.m.

OFFICIANTS for the service will be Father Tom Hermes and Father Ernie Gauthier.

VISITATION/ROSARY will be held at the Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri on Sunday, June 7, 2015.

Visitation : 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Rosary : 7:00 p.m.

INTERMENT will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Montrose, Missouri.

Robert Lee "Bob" Munsterman, son of Leo Anthony and Helen Francis (Baer) Munsterman was born June 30, 1942 in Appleton City, Missouri. He passed away at his home in rural Appleton City on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the age of 72.

Bob lived in the Montrose and Appleton City areas all his life. His faith was very important to him. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montrose, leading the rosary as often as he could. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, and Cattleman's Association.

Bob was united in marriage to Carmalita Marie Dubin on January 10, 1975 at the county courthouse in Miami, Oklahoma.

Bob was proud of being a farmer, growing row crops of wheat, corn and soybeans and raising Angus cattle. He enjoyed tilling his large vegetable garden and mowing his yard because he said it was very relaxing. He loved working with his hands; designing and building a gazebo and bridge over his pond for his beloved wife and family.

Bob had a passion for old cars. His favorite was a 1957 Chevy. In 2011 he got a 1929 Ford with "all the chrome". He and Carmen would take it to car shows.

As Bob's health declined, he enjoyed watching game shows, especially Press Your Luck and the Jerry Springer Show.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Carmen of the home; daughters: Bridget Zimmermann (David), Jeri Meisel (Jonathan) and Amy Snyder (Jesse); grandchildren: Andrew and Ryan Zimmermann, Ellie and Audrey Meisel and Chloe Snyder; brothers: Jim Munsterman (Karen) and Rick Munsterman; sisters: Janice Alexander (Richard), Kathy Schoonover (Ron) and Annette Manny (Dale), and his special dog Freckles, whom he dearly loved.

Bob's family was important to him and he worked hard to provide for them. He loved spending special time with his kids and grandkids.

Bob deeply appreciated the help he received from Brad Munsterman, Rick Munsterman, Jim Munsterman, Rita Service and Lisa Bolton as his health declined and he was unable to farm. He extends a special thank you to them.
