Robert Boice Carson, son of Robert B. and Mary H. (House) Carson, was born April 4, 1940. He passed away July 24, 2008 at his home in Appleton City, Missouri at 68 years of age.
Bob was born in Tulsa Oklahoma. He spent his childhood in Tulsa, Wichita, Kansas, and Appleton City. Bob served his country in the United States Navy. He lived in Tucson, Arizona and Kansas City and later retired in Appleton City.
Bob was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Appleton City. He made his living creating magnificent artwork throughout his life. Bob enjoyed boxing, history, and was a very colorful character touching many lives with his art and his own personality.
Bob was a wonderful, colorful character. Most of us can only dream of the experiences he lived. He was a kind hearted animal lover. Bobs sense of humor never failed to brighten someone's day. He was one of a kind; unique and original. We will be deeply missed, but never forgotten by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include: daughters Meredith Carson of San Diego, California, Leloie Carson of Tucson, Arizona; grandson Shawn Eric Jones and granddaughter Wendi Lee Jones both of Nevada, Missouri; great grandson Riddick Wyndell Shook of Nevada, Missouri; 12 cats and a dog of the home.
