Raymond G. Thomas, Jr. was born August 1, 1963 in Bolivar, Missouri to Raymond Guy, Sr. and Virginia Ann (Parker) Thomas.  He departed this life in Butler, Missouri on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 56 years of age.

The family moved to Kansas City, Missouri when Raymond was three.  He was married to Amber Clark for 13 years, and to this union they were blessed with three children, Raymond G. III, Steven and Christine.

Following his retirement Raymond moved to Appleton City to be near his family.  He loved fishing, especially with his dad.  He also liked deer hunting and camping.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father Raymond Guy Thomas, Sr.; a sister, Vickey Bolin; grandparents: Mildred Duncan and Guy and Effie Thomas.

Survivors include his sons, Raymond G. Thomas III and Steven Thomas; his daughter Christine Thomas; his mother, Virginia Thomas of Appleton City, Missouri; two nephews, David Conner and wife Tabitha of Taberville, Missouri and Brian Bolin and wife Nickey of Asbury, Missouri one niece, Jennifer Connor of Appleton City, Missouri; and one aunt, Darlene Wanstreet.
