Raymond Earl Harleman was born November 2, 1926 to Marquis LeRoy and Nellie Rose (Bishop) Harleman. Raymond went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri at 82 years of age.
On March 14, 1952 Raymond married Donna Louise Mosher and to this union three children were born, Donald Ray, Rita Louise and Ronald Earl.
Although Raymond wasn't able to stay in public school for many years he understood mechanical things and what made them work. He was the first person to design a motor that ran on compressed air. He was a brilliant mechanic and loved working on automobiles. Raymond also farmed and he enjoyed helping out his neighbors when they needed a hand. He always had a smile to share with friends, neighbors and people he met on the street.
Raymond's family was his life and he worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and children through the years. He enjoyed being entertained by his grandchildren and seeing his great-grandchildren. Tippie, his dog, was a faithful friend and companion on the farm and held a special place in Raymond's heart.
Preceding Raymond in death were his parents, four brothers, Chester, Clyde, Howard and Tommy Harleman, and one sister Annabelle Thornton. Raymond leaves behind his wife Donna of the home; his three children, Donald and wife Lucile of Rockville, Missouri, Rita and husband David Ryser of El dorado Springs, Missouri and Ron and wife Sherry of Rockville, Missouri; five grandsons, Ben Cochran and wife Lisa, Marcus Cochran and wife Misty and James Cochran and wife Barbara, Alex Ryser and Tyler Ryser; and six great-grandchildren, Ashten and Austin, Kayla and Jacob and Kamera and Draven.
