Pauley E. Cooper, 80, son of Hawley and Olean (Hunter) Cooper passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri.

Paul was born and raised in Davidson County, Tennessee. He enlisted in the Navy on September 24, 1948 and spent 20 years as a cook on a hospital ship. After retiring from active service on November 20, 1968,he served in the fleet reserves until May 1, 1978. Paul worked for 19 years as a guard at the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, Missouri. He lived in Kansas City until 1988 when he moved to Appleton City. On March 13, 1992 Paul married Sandra Rivers in Miami, Oklahoma. He loved to fish and hunt in his spare time.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Margie Parkerson. He is survived by his wife Sandra Cooper of the home; their children, Paul Cooper of Independence, Missouri, Leslie Cooper of Raytown, Missouri, Ralph Wilkins of Richland, Missouri, Mike Lynch and wife Teresa of Butler, Missouri; and Tina Loman and husband Bret of Clinton, Missouri; a brother Hawley Cooper of Joelton, Tennessee; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many special friends.
