A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held for Patty at Myers Cemetery in rural Appleton City, Missouri on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

Patty Ann (Wegener) Gregory, 80 of Windsor, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 24 ^th 2017 at Kansas University hospital from heart complications.

Patty was born June 10 ^th 1936 to Ben and Ruby (Gates) Wegener. She had one brother, Bobby Joe Wegener as well as two step-brothers, Randy and Steve Stokes. Patty grew up in Missouri City, Missouri, where she attended school and enjoyed being in her sorority, attending dances, and spending time with friends.

Patty met Leonard Leroy Gregory in 1952 and they were married in 1953. They had their first child Vicki Sue Gregory on February 1 ^st 1954, followed by Leonard Lee Gregory on May 2 ^nd 1957, and Tina Marie Gregory on February 19 ^th 1960. The Gregorys spent several years in California, but eventually returned to Appleton City, Missouri, where they would reside and raise their children.

Patty dedicated her life to taking care of her husband and raising her children. She enjoyed Kansas City Chiefs football, mushroom hunting, camping, and surprisingly riding motorcycles. She liked going to the casino and having crab legs for dinner. She enjoyed listening to country music, watching birds, and loved fresh garden vegetables. She loved spending time with friends and family, which she had an abundance of, who knew to know her was to love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her husband, and her grandson.

She is survived by her aunt, Virginia Wegener Wheeler; her three children, Vicki Gregory, Leonard (Mary) Gregory, and Tina (Fred) Anderson as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
