Patricia "Pat" Brown, daughter of Charles Nathan and Marie Patricia (Bower) Carter, Sr., was born in Kansas City, Missouri March 24, 1954. She passed away quietly June 24, 2010 at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri at 56 years of age.
Pat lived in the Appleton City area her whole life except for a year that she lived in Arizona. She was united in marriage to Walter Louis Brown September 13, 1997. She was a stay at home mom who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed planting flowers and going dancing with her husband before he passed away. Pat also liked to play bingo, work on puzzle books and drink ice cold sweet tea. She also attended Trinity United Methodist Church during the last three years.
Preceding Pat in death were her parents, her husband, her brother Charles Carter, Jr., and a son Albert Brown. Survivors include her five children Charlie Brown, Susie Brown and companion Keith Bailey, Willie Brown and wife Missy, Pansy Brown, and Virginia Brown and companion David McKinney, grandchildren Dakota, Shyla, Jaden and Skyler, eight sisters Etta Enoch, Virgina Gibson, Barbara, Jeannia Lee, Patty (Washia) Crow, Kimmy (Bower) Childress, Margaret (Bower) Jennings and Chalene Vanderpoole, five brothers, Carl Carter, Charles Carter, Jim Washia, Lee Bower, and William Carson, step brother William Glenn, an uncle Everett Carter and wife Mary, an aunt Birdie, and close family friends Warren and Sarah. She will be greatly missed by her many family members and friends.
