Michael Larry Parks was born on December 20th, 1964, in El Dorado Springs, MO. He was baptized on January 17th, 1965, in the Zion Lutheran Church in Rockville, MO. Michael graduated high school in Independence, MO. He worked for Ford Motor Company, where he was a member of the local UAW 249. Michael was an affectionate man who was fond of fishing and hunting. He also had a love of smoking meat and cooking for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, a Cousin Rodney Bracher, and his in-laws Burl and Pearl Evans. He is Survived by his wife Phyllis Marie Parks, daughters, Latisha Vander Pluym (Tim), Katrina Hayes (Evan), Rachel Parks (Blake). Grandson Tryce Gunn. His Parents Robert Edward and Phyllis Fay Parks, and his brothers Robert Douglas Parks, and Brendan Todd Parks (Shawna). Also, many nieces, nephews, and friends
