Appleton City Cemetery inAppleton City, Missouri
on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at
2:00 p.m.
OFFICIANTING the service will be

Mattie Lou (Skipper) Carrigan, daughter of Rustin "T" and Minnie (Crider) Skipper was born January 7, 1929 in Carroll County, Georgia. She passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Clinton, Missouri at the age of 85.
When Mattie was growing up she picked cotton with her family in Georgia. She was united in marriage to Larry Carrigan.
When she was younger, she owned and operated "Mattie's Café" in Independence, Missouri. She also worked at the Lipton Tea Company. Prior to her death, she resided at Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Clinton, Missouri.
Mattie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Carrigan; four brothers and three sisters.
Mattie is survived by: son, James Hollis, Sr., Independence, Missouri; daughter, Glenda June (Hollis) Weatherman and husband, Billy of Appleton City, Missouri; grandchildren: Jerri and Kelly Moise, Adrian, Missouri, Tammy Weatherman, Denton, Texas, Billie Jean and Shawn Crusha, Urich, Missouri, James and Crystal Weatherman of Urich, Missouri, and James Michael Hollis, Clinton, Missouri; great-grandchildren: Cassandra Durbin, Michael Durbin and Alexander Durbin, Lee's Summit, Missouri, Shelby Crusha, Shawn Paul Crusha, Hunter Crusha and Wyatt Crusha, Urich, Missouri, Lucas Andrew Moise and Natalie Jo Moise, Adrian, Missouri, Brittney and Ryan Weatherman, Urich, Missouri.
