Matthew Wayne Parker, age 18, son of Daniel Lee Parker Sr and Tamara Ann Parker was born March 30, 1992 in Osceola, Missouri. He departed this life July 9, 2010.
Matt graduated from Appleton City High School in 2010. He was enrolled in the UCM radiology program in Warrensburg. Matt loved fishing and hunting and hanging out with his cousin's and friends, especially Ian Foster.
Sports were very important to Matt. While he was in high school he played football, baseball and participated in track and field. He broke both the junior high and high schools discuss record. Matt also competed in the state track and field competition several years. Matt always had a smile on his face and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Matt is preceded in death by his grandfather Ted Dearston, an Aunt Sondra Mullen and a cousin Jennifer Baker. He is survived by his mother Tamara Parker and companion Kenneth Herdman of the home father Daniel Parker of Appleton City, two brothers Daniel Parker and Nicholas Parker, two sisters Stephanie Parker and Breanna Parker of the home, maternal grandmother Patricia Dearston of Appleton City, maternal grandfather Marcus Mullen and wife Judy of Beaver Dam, WI, maternal great-grand mother Alma Rockwell of Holden, MO, uncles Chris Mullen and wife Della of Eudora, KS, Mike Mullen and wife Shelly of Urich, Mo, Tim Mullen of Clinton, MO, Jeff Mullen of Windsor, MO, Mark Mullen of Des Almous, Mo, paternal grandparents Rebecca Parker of Olathe, KS, Robert Parker of Lexington, MO, paternal great-grandparents LaDonna Smalley of Warsaw, MO, Nettie Berglund of Lexington, MO, aunt LouAnn James of Overland Park, KS, Teresa Sedlak of Kansas City, MO, aunt Rita Berkheimer and husband Dave of West Plains, MO and very special friend Katie Strope of Appleton City, MO.
