The FUNERAL SERVICE for Mrs. Johnson will be held at
Hill and Son Funeral Home in
Appleton City, Missouri on
Thursday, March 14, 2013 at
10:30 a.m.

The MINISTER will be
Reverend Larry Wheeler.

VISITATION will be held
at the funeral home preceding the serice on Thursday, March 14, 2013
from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

INTERMENT will be in
Appleton City Cemetery.

The family suggests MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to the
Alzheimer's Association or Heartland Hospice - Butler.

Mary Frances Johnson, 86, daughter of Ernest E. and Maude M. (Chiles) Goodenough, was born September 14, 1926 in Montrose, Missouri. She passed away March 10, 2013 in Butler, Missouri.

Mary was united in marriage to Harold Johnson on February 24, 1948 in Butler, Missouri. In 1961, they moved to Windsor, Missouri, where they lived until 1964 then they returned to Appleton City, Missouri where she stayed home to be a homemaker and farm wife and raise their son, Larry.

Mary completed courses at Kansas City Secretarial College. She also enjoyed watching old westerns, sewing, quilting, embroidery and gardening. She was a member of the Ohio Christian Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Ernest, in 1966; her mother, Maude, in 1960; her husband, Harold on January 8, 1991 and her brother, Ray Goodenough on February 10, 1986.

Survivors include her son, Larry Johnson and wife, Effie, Urbana, Missouri; one grandson, Aaron Johnson and wife, Annie; one granddaughter, Cynthia Wade and husband, Bryan; two great-grandsons, Nathan Wade and Mason Johnson and two great-granddaughters, Caitlin Wade and Bailea Johnson, all from Appleton City, Missouri.
