Mary met Delmar Domer while he was in the Army stationed at Greenville. She was 16 when they were married on September 30, 1944. Mary remained in Texas until Delmar returned from the war.

After Delmar returned from the war, they moved to the family farm near Appleton City, Missouri. They lived on the farm until August of 1996 when they moved to Appleton City.

Mary was a member of the Rockville Methodist Church. She belonged to a community quilting club, but she also enjoyed sewing and quilting with Delmar. She and Delmar loved to travel and regularly visited family in California, Washington, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada. They enjoyed a special trip to Hawaii.

Mary loved to cook, garden, and can food from the garden. Her grandchildren got to experience baking with her as she taught them how to make cookies. It was never just one kind of cookie but whatever kind they wanted which sometimes ended up being 5 different kinds.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband Delmar; brothers Leroy Hutchings, Jack Hutchings and Benny Hutchings.

Mary is survived by son Larry Domer (Heidi), Las Vegas, NV, daughter Carol Parsons (Vernon) Appleton City; grandchildren: Phillip Parsons, Peculiar, MO, April Krause (Ryan), Clinton, MO, Tytus Parsons, Springfield, MO, and Dillon Domer, Las Vegas, NV; great-grandchildren Avery and Lans Krause, Clinton, MO; siblings: Juanita Tucker, Elizabeth Rippy, Virginia Stuart, Charles Spradling, Tommy Spradling, Hugh D. Spradling; brother-in-law Glen Domer; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mary loved to be with her family on a daily basis. She left many loving memories for her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
