Hill and Son Funeral Home in
Appleton City, Missouri on
Wednesday, March 27, 2013 between
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
A MILITARY GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be presented in Mr. Jagels honor by the
Appleton City VFW Post #11242 and the Missouri Honor Guard.
INTERMENT will be in
Zion Lutheran Cemetery,
Prairie City, Missouri

Marvin Paul Jagels, son of George Henry and Minna Marie (Schlicher) Jagels, was born July 21, 1924 in Bates County, Missouri. He departed this life on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 88.
He was united in marriage to Velda Lorine Fisher on June 6, 1948 at Zion Lutheran Church. They were blessed with the birth of two children, Donita Kay in 1949 and Ricky Jay in 1950.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Velda; a great-granddaughter, Abigail Lynn Shank; four sisters, Viola Guthormsen, Ether Vogt, Laura Fischer, and Elnora Roberts; and one brother, Gilbert Jagels.
Survivors include: daughter, Donita Wilson (Larry), Branson, Missouri; son, Ricky Jagels (Linda), Rich Hill, Missouri; grandchildren: Tracey Wilson, Olathe, Kansas, Brandon Wilson (Julie), Branson, Missouri, Kara Shank (Steve), Argyle, Texas, Amanda Stuckey (Shawn), Kansas City, Missouri, Bethany Rose (James), Leawood, Kansas, Suzanne Jennings (Dallas), Rich Hill, Missouri; great-grandchildren: Payton, Langley and Levi Shank, Haydon and Will Wilson, and Henry Rick Rose; brothers: Erwin Jagels (Deloris), Overland Park, Kansas and Garnold Jagels (Charlotte), Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister-in-law, Leola Jagels, Appleton City, Missouri and brother-in-law, Delbert Fischer, Rockville, Missouri.
