The SERVICE for Marlo will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 14, 2020 at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri.

The MINISTER will be Jerry Johannigmeier.

VISITATION will be held preceding the service from 1:30 - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

INTERMENT will be in Myers Cemetery rural Appleton City, Missouri.

The family requests any MEMORIAL donations be given to a Family Love Fund.

Marlo Sue Padley, daughter of Duane and Lois (Saxton) Bonwell, was born June 26, 1946 in San Diego, California.  She passed away February 9, 2020 in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Marlo lived in Alaska for several years then later moved to Hugoton, Kansas where she met and married Vernon L. Padley on November 1, 1986.  She was a nurse's aide before her daughter Ashley was born in July 1989.  She then stayed home raising the kids.  Marlo and Vernon lived west of Appleton City; then moved to Butler in 1991.

She liked vacuuming and cleaning.  She enjoyed watching her goldfish and guppies in her tank.  She loved spending time with her grandkids and talking to them on the phone.

Marlo and Vernon were married 33 wonderful years together and renewed their vows last year.

Marlo was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Phillip Bonwell and one son, Justin Dean Padley.  Survivors include: her husband, Vernon L. Padley; her children, Michael Chamberlain and wife Rose, Bobby Chamberlain, SuAnne Chamberlain, Tamara McKinzie and Ashley Padley; her grandchildren: Zachary Miller, Kayleona Miller, Brian Chamberlin, Heaven Chamberlain, Brayden Saucerman, Braelynn Padley, Ross Padley; her step-grandchildren:  Jordan Padley and Jaycee Padley; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gary Bonwell.
