Marion "Tony" L. Bock, age 86 of rural Appleton City was born on July 31, 1925. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 16, 2012 with his family at his side. He was saved at the age of 12 and was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church until his passing. Tony lived in the Appleton City area all of his life except for two years serving his country stationed in Germany 1951–1953.
Tony and Leila Mae Waters were united in marriage on March 25, 1951 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and to this union five children were born. Tony loved his family, his church and farming. He especially liked bowling, playing cards and being with family on Sundays.
Marion is survived by his wife of 61 years Leila Bock of the home, Dennis Bock and wife Wanda, Bonnie Perrymann, Barbara Belew, Dale Bock and wife Gayle, Wanda Barley and husband Brant. Ten grandchildren: Leila Houk, Brittany Perrymann, Sara Perrymann, Jamie Belew, Jennifer Bock, Tanner Belew, Cameron Bock, Taylor Bock, Connor Bock and Braiden Barley; six great-grandchildren Tyler Crowder, Ethan Houk, Ryan Daugherty, Kaylee Houk, Reese Mikle and Aiden Juarez; two sisters-in-law Julia Ann Bock and Dorris Bock; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Marion in death were his parents Claude E. and Bonnie Bock, brothers Jim Bock and Claude Bock and sister Betty Stewart.
