Margaret Mary Koch, daughter of Albert Anthony and Teresa Katherine (Witzel) Koch, was born February, 18 1913 in rural Montrose, Missouri. She passed away quietly at Appleton City Manor in Appleton City, Missouri May 1, 2009 at 96 years of age.
Margaret had lived in the Montrose and Kansas City areas throughout her lifetime. Ms. Koch worked as a private nurse most of her life. Margaret loved to garden. She spent many happy hours engrossed with her cherished flowers. Ms. Koch had a great love for her family, who were the light of her life. Margaret was a devout Catholic; she always said a rosary daily.
Preceding Margaret in death were her parents, two sisters, Agnes Moll, and Marilyn Boehm; one brother Matthew Koch; and one niece Patricia Moll. Survivors include her two sisters Teresa Brownsberger of Montrose, Missouri, and Christine Schlagel of Bonner Springs, Kansas; one brother Gereon Koch of Appleton City, Missouri; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
