Lyle Dean Roland, 82, son of Herbert J. and Margaret M. Roland, was born June 27, 1938 in Kidder, Missouri.  He departed this life at his home in Appleton City, Missouri January 13, 2021.

Lyle had worked as an auto repairman and also worked in auto salvage throughout his life.  He loved stock cars and raced at I-70 Speedway many years in his younger days.

Lyle is survived by his companion of 30 years, Alberta Boner of the home; six children:  Dan Fox, Rodney Roland, Kimberly Roland Lyle Dean Roland, Jr., Lori Warran and Robert Roland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

No service is planned for Mr. Roland in Appleton City.  A committal will be held at a later date by the family in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, Missouri.
