The FUNERAL SERVICE for Mr. Klinksick will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City, Missouri on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at
2:00 p.m.

The MINISTER will be Pastor Joel Meyer.

VISITATION will be held at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

INTERMENT will be in the Rockville Cemetery, Rockville, Missouri.

Lonnie Gene Klinksick, 66, son of Gene and Betty Klinksick was born on September 28, 1947. He passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his home.

On October 19, 1947, Lonnie was baptized at the Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City and was confirmed on March 26, 1961.

While growing up, Lonnie lived with his family on the farm in Prairie City, Missouri. During his high school years he played his favorite sport, football. After graduating from high school in 1965, he followed in his father's footsteps and started hauling canned milk. Later, he purchased a bulk milk route which started with one truck and grew to many trucks over the years, with faithful and dedicated drivers to help them.

On October 22, 1977, Lonnie was united in marriage to Carolyn Rapp of Rockville, Missouri. Together they united their children from previous marriages into a loving family, Lonnie's sons, Clint and Lance and Carolyn's daughter, Julie.

Lonnie and Carolyn moved to El Dorado Springs, Missouri where they both hauled milk. They moved to a farm near Appleton City, Missouri in 1980 where they hauled milk and farmed full time.

Lonnie and Carolyn retired from milk hauling in 2010, but continued to farm and raise cattle. Carolyn was always by his side.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Betty Klinksick, sister-in-law, Christine Klinksick.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Carolyn; sons: Clint Klinksick (Carlene) and Lance Klinksick (Jane); step-daughter, Julie Martens (Calvin); grandchildren: Katie (fiance' John Haines), Zachary, Grant, Mathew, Danielle and Jenn; step-grandchildren: Jordan, Jacqueline and Austin; brother Davie Klinksick (Lila); sisters: Wyma Lanning (Rick) and Nona Yohe (Artie).

Lonnie was a loving, caring husband, father, brother and grandfather, beloved by those who knew and loved him. He will be missed dearly but not forgotten.
