Lizzie Caroline Parks, 98, passed away November 3, 2024, at Adair Village in Clinton, MO. She was born on August 20, 1926, in rural St. Clair County, the daughter of Clarence and Sallie (Bolen) Ginter.
Lizzie attended Upper Monegaw School and grew up in the Rockville and Montrose areas. She married the love of her life Charles Parks on March 1, 1952, in Eureka Springs, Ark. They made their home in Rockville until Charles passed away on June 25, 1986. She remained in the Rockville area until 1995 when she moved to Ft. Scott, KS.
Lizzie was a hard worker and loved to go to dances. She also enjoyed trips to Branson, MO to see the shows and enjoy the Ozark scenery. She was always the life of the party and loved to tell family stories.
Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charley, three sisters (Ruby Snethen, Ruth Wilson, and Belva Robinson), four brothers (Edgar, Bryan, George and Orville Ginter). She had a great laugh, spunky spirit and love for family and her Lord & Savior. She will be dearly missed.
