The SERVICE for Mrs. Mosley will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri.

The MINISTER officiating at the service will be Brother J.P. Williams.

VISITATION will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. preceding the service at the funeral home.

INTERMENT will be in the Appleton City Cemetery.

The family suggests any MEMORIAL donations be given to the Appleton City Cemetery or the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Glenwood, Missouri and may be left at the funeral home.

Linda Lois Mosley, 75, of Appleton City, Missouri died at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri on Monday, April 15, 2019.

The daughter of John Henry and Geneva Lois (McGoldrick) Taylor, she was born west of Glenwood, Missouri on October 23, 1943.

Linda was united in marriage to Harry Mathew Mosley on April 5, 1962. She is survived by her husband and three children: Kevin Mosley and wife, Annette of Macon, Missouri; Kyle Mosley and wife, Stephanie of Eagle Grove, Iowa; Jill Fischer and husband, Jerrell of Appleton City, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Kaleb Mosley (Sara), Luke Mosley (Christina), Victoria Daniels (Ryan), Kylea Mosley, John Mosley, Taylor Fischer, James Fischer, and two great grandchildren: Rilynn Daniels and Wyatt Daniels.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Taylor.

Linda, being raised on a farm in rural Glenwood, Missouri, enjoyed her livestock and horses. Special memories included raising a blue ribbon Herford for the county fair and breaking her own horses:  Penny and Babe.

Linda was not raised in church as a child, but in May 1959, she attended a revival where she learned of God's saving grace. The next night she took her mother to hear the message and she also accepted Christ as her Savior. It was many years before her father succumbed to God's calling, but she rejoiced at his salvation in his elderly years.

Linda and Harry began their marriage in Novinger, Missouri, enjoying times with life-long friends, Edward and Margaret Polovich. Later, moving to rural Willard, Missouri where they raised their children. Linda was involved in church as a Sunday School teacher at Elwood Assembly of God. Linda made sure the family was in church every Sunday.

4-H was a big part of the Mosley household. Linda was a Community leader of the Bois D'Arc Braves 4-H Club, project leader, and served on the Greene County 4-H Council.

Linda's priorities were taking care of her family: whether it was taking meals to the hayfield at 2:00 in the morning, helping with a 4-H project or speech, driving kids to piano lessons, or saying prayers together every night before bed. In Linda's later years, she wasn't able to go as much because of the effects of multiple sclerosis, but she loved to travel, so she and Harry enjoyed many outings in their travel trailer.
