Larry Kent Ransdell, 82, formerly of Concordia, Missouri departed this life Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Appleton City Manor in Appleton City, Missouri.

Larry was born August 31, 1941 in Lexington, Missouri, the son of Kenneth Walter and Anna Elizabeth (Bell) Ransdell.  Larry and Alice Ann Miller were united in marriage and were blessed with three children.  Larry was a hardworking man, who loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  After his retirement, he enjoyed tending his garden and pretty flowers.  He always took the time to tell you about the pecan trees around his home.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Anna Ransdell; two siblings, Robert Ransdell and Barbara Helt; and two brothers-in-law, Leland Helt and Carl Hall.  Survivors include his wife Alice Ransdell, his children: Larry Ransdell, Jr. (Lyn), Mitch Ransdell (Jessica), and Christina Ransdell; his siblings: Paul Ransdell (Geri), Joyce Haile (Ted), and Vicki Hall; sister-in-law, Allene Ransdell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ransdell's wishes were to be cremated and there is no public service planned at present.
