The FUNERAL SERVICE for Mrs. Huffman will be held at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.

MINISTER will be Jerry Johannigmeier.

VISITATION will be held at Hill and Son Funeral Home on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

INTERMENT will be in Rockville Cemetery, Rockville, Missouri.

The family suggests that MEMORIAL contributions may be made to Rockville Cemetery.

June Irene (Cline) Huffman, daughter of John Henry and Nellie (Bain) Cline was born June 1, 1930 in Rockville, Missouri. She passed away in her home on January 27 2015 at the age of 84.

June lived her life in the Rockville area, attending and graduating from the Rockville High School where she was a member of the basketball team.

On July 28th of 1948, June married Thomas Monroe Huffman, Jr. and they started their life on the farm where she raised tomatoes for the local grocery stores and sold eggs to the hatchery.

She was raised and attended the Rockville Methodist Church until her health started to fail. She held and enjoyed a variety of different jobs where she worked with the public. She would volunteer any time there was a VBS that needed her. But her greatest joy came for caring for others' needs and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, and her son, Harold Herbert Huffman.

She is survived by her children: Phyllis June Huffman Love (Austin), Eugene Monroe Huffman, Joyce Sue Huffman Mitchel (Dean), and Jon Randall Huffman (Roslyn/Sam); grandchildren: Christina Rena Love-Vanderpool (Frankie), Justin Neal Love (Veronica), Barry Scott Mitchel, Matthew Thomas Huffman (Hannah) and Scott Randall Huffman (Caitlin); great-grandchildren: Declan and Logan Love, Deacon Vanderpool, Joseph and June Huffman; sister, Rosemary Hagelin and many nieces and nephews.
