Obituary

June (Bradley) Horrocks, formally of Eagle Rock, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016, at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, in 2007.

SERVICE details are pending with White Funeral Home, 196 Sale Barn Rd., Cassville, MO 65625.

VISITATION will be held for Mrs. Horrocks at Hill & Son Funeral Home, Appleton City, Missouri on Saturday, August 13, 2016 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at Appleton City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. (following the visitation at Hill & Son Funeral Home) under the direction of White Funeral Home from Cassville, MO.

June Rose Horrocks, age 85, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Horrocks, daughter of Willam Reed Elliott and Sarah Rosalyn (Leuty) Bradley, was born on December 9, 1930, in Adrian, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Dale Horrocks in Ordway, Colorado, on August 25, 1949. June worked in various factories and was a beloved wife and homemaker; she and her husband moved to Eagle Rock in 2004. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of the Cassville branch. June loved the being outdoors camping or gardening, and crocheting.

Survivors include, four sons, William Dale Horrocks, of Eagle Rock, Richard Horrocks and his wife Connie, of Glenaire, Clayton Horrocks and his wife Kim, of Raymore, and David Horrocks and his wife Tammie, of Smithville; two daughters, Teresa Carkeek and her husband Terry, of Glenaire, and Karen Searcy and her husband Jim, of Eagle Rock; 27 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother Jack Bradley, of Des Moines, Iowa.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Delores Horrocks, and one brother, William Bradley.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at the Appleton City Cemetery, 213 West 6th Street, Appleton City, Missouri, with Mike Quick officiating. A visitation will be held prior to services from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Eckhoff-Hill Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the Eagle Rock, Mano, Golden Fire District or the Appleton City Cemetery, and entrusted to the White Funeral Home & Crematory, P.O. 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
