The SERVICE for Mrs. Harralson will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri.

The MINISTER officiating at the service will be Pastor James Damon.

INTERMENT will be immediately following the service in Rockville Cemetery, Rockville, Missouri.

The family suggests MEMORIAL donations be made to The River of Life Church (Rockville, MO) or the Alzheimer's Association.  These memorials may be left at the funeral home.

Judith Anne (Hallisey) Harralson, born September 6, 1941, the youngest daughter of John Henry and Juanita Louise (Stinson) Hallisey, passed away peacefully at the Appleton City Manor on April 10, 2018.  She attended Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri.  Shortly after her graduation in 1959, she married Leonard Dennis Harralson on May 25, 1960.  To this union two children were born: Julie and David.

Throughout her life Judy worked in the banking industry, starting at the Country Club Bank on the Plaza in Kansas City, then later managed the Rockville branch of Security Bank until her retirement.

Apart from her career, a few of her favorite things were watching hummingbirds on her porch, reading Stephen King novels, and watching films of all genres.  She also loved camping and waterskiing at the lake.  Along with such activities, Judy was a wonderful grandmother, who always had a smile on her face, and spent many hours taking her grandkids shopping when they were young.  Her friends were a huge part of her life, enjoying an especially close relationship with Marsha Hawkins, Arlene Gargotto, and Dee Rapp.  Finally, Assisting in the founding of the Rockville Festival was an accomplishment she took great pride in.  She was great mother, grandmother, and second mother to many, and will be dearly missed by all of her friends and family she leaves behind.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Juanita, and her husband, Leonard Dennis Harralson in 2011.

Survivors include her daughter, Julie Moore (David) of Rockville, Missouri, her son, David Harralson (Susan) of Greenwood, Missouri, one step-daughter, Mindy McKain of Johnson County, Kansas; five grandchildren: Nicholas Foster of Rockville, Lucas Harralson of Marietta, California, Rachael Gilpin (Caleb) of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Anthony Harralson (Janelle) of Arkansas and Angela Harralson-Bailey (companion Jake) of Humansville, Missouri; one step-granddaughter, Michaela Loxterman of Johnson County, Kansas; five great-grandchildren: Andrea, Garrett, Keeghan, Kaiden and Annaleigha; and two sisters, Bonnie Moore (Harold) of Kansas City, Missouri and Betty Cassada (Bob, deceased) of Florence, Mississippi.
