Irvin L. "Buck" Isaacson, 70, son of Irvin and Maxine (Snow) Isaacson, was born June 25, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. He passed away at his home on August 2, 2012.

Buck was a graduate of Rich Hill High School and attended Fort Scott Community College where he played football. He went on to join the U.S. Marine Corp where he served as a jet engine mechanic between 1961 and 1965. While still in service to his country, Buck and Helen Rapp were married on August 25, 1961. Together they were blessed with two children, Douglas Eugene and Tena Louise.

Buck was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City, Missouri December 31, 1977 and maintained a personal relationship with God throughout his life.

After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corp, Buck and Helen returned to Rockville, Missouri where they farmed together with their family. In 2011 Buck retired and enjoyed the remainder of his life by spending time with family and friends.

Buck enjoyed life to the fullest, owning and driving a stock car for several years at Nevada Speedway and also acquiring his pilot's license in 1983.

Preceding Buck in death was his wife, Helen; his parents, Irvin and Maxine; one brother, Dean Isaacson; one sister-in-law, Velma Rapp; one brother-in-law, Lawrence Rapp; and his father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Norma Rapp. Survivors include his children, Doug Isaacson and Tena Brand (Greg); his grandchildren: Delanya Marshall (Patrick), Kaylee Herring, Kelsey Herring and Logan Brand; one great-granddaughter, Bella Marshall; and four siblings: Pat Swickhamer (Marion), Dale Isaacson, Jerry Isaacson (Diane) and Janet Rankin(Jim).
