Irene Evelyn (Fleischer) Rapp, age 73 of Rockville, Missouri passed away on June 17, 2007 at her home.

She was born December 7, 1933 to Paul and Lillie (Schenker) Fleischer of Rockville, Missouri.

She was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church, Prairie City, Missouri where she was baptized and confirmed. She attended school at Fairmont, Prairie City and graduated from Rockville High School in 1951. On May 8, 1955 she was united in marriage to Leo Rapp at Zion Lutheran Church. To this union three children were born.

Irene enjoyed gardening, sewing, needlework and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, working on the farm and being a homemaker.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was the strength and heart of her family. She will be missed by everyone who had the opportunity to share her life.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Leo Rapp; one son Clayton Rapp and wife Tina of Rockville, Missouri; two daughters, Cynthia Dunn and husband Jim of Baudette, Minnesota, Karen Scrivener and husband Curtis of Rockville, Missouri; one brother Roy Fleischer and wife Wanda of Butler, Missouri and six grandchildren; Sarah and Chris Rapp, Nick Dunn and John, Michael and Rachel Scrivener.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Everett Fleischer and one grandchild Zack Rapp.
