A VISITATION & ROSARY will also be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Montrose, Missouri on Thursday, November 5, 2020
Visitation from 5:00 – 6:40 p.m. followed by the Rosary being said between 6:40 - 7:00 p.m.
INTERMENT will be at St. Mary's Cemetery outside Montrose, Missouri

Harold Morris Boden was born on January 13, 1931 the son of Henry and Louise (Firsick) Boden, and passed away peacefully at his home on November 3, 2020, age 89. He grew up in the Montrose area, where he attended school. Shortly after completing his education, he married Elaine Devina Buller on May 8, 1965 his wife of 55 years. To this union 4 children were born: David Joseph, Harold Wayne, Michelle Rene, Edward Gene. Harold joined the US Army in 1952, serving his country proudly during the Korean War.
Harold was a hard worker that dedicated his life to his farm, teaching his children and grandchildren the meaning of hard work. He loved raising crops, working cattle, and tending to his many hogs so long as he remained able. Harold also enjoyed woodworking, constructing most of the furniture in his home. Apart from this, his family was the most important thing in his life, and he cherished times spent with them, especially his grandchildren. Harold was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, supporting the parish in any way he could. He served on the parish council, the Montrose R-14 school board, and the Bear Creek Township road board. Harold will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, David Boden; eight siblings: John (Rosie) Boden, Kathryn (Bernard ) Wagner, Mary (Clifford) Putthoff, Raymond (Mary Ellen) Boden, Clara Mae (George) Greufe, LeRoy Boden, Florence (Earl) Talley, and Eleanor (Raymond) Seaton; one brother-in-law, Burnell Story;
He is survived by his wife Elaine Boden; 3 children: Harold Wayne (Susan) Boden; Michelle (Norman) Bellinghausen, Edward (Jennifer) Boden; siblings: Rose Story, Esther (Dean) Douglas; 4 grandchildren: Andrew (Amber) Bellinghausen, Kristin (Dalton) Lindsay, Hannah Boden, and Harrison Boden; one great-grandson, Declan Bellinghausen; along with many extended family and dear friends.
