Glen Ralph Davis, son of Ralph M. and Mary Alma (Hall) Davis, was born September 9, 1913 in St. Clair County, Missouri. He departed this life February 24, 2006 at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri at 92 years of age.
Mr. Davis spent most of his life in the St. Clair County area. He was employed by the Johnson Truck Line, Piepmeier Motor Company and he served Appleton City as a police officer for 40 years. Glen and Pauline Young were united in marriage September 19, 1936 in the home of Reverend Miller and to this union one son was born. Glen was a devoted husband and father. He was a faithful member of the First Christian Church and also belonged to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Preceding him in death were his wife and parents. Survivors include his son, James R. Davis of Appleton City, Missouri and three sisters, Helen Trent and Etta Varns both of Butler, Missouri and Mary Norton of Raymore, Missouri.
