The FUNERAL SERVICE for Mr. Kincaid will be held at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
The MINISTER will be Reverend Gar Garman.
VISITATION will be held at Hill and Son Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. prior to service.
INTERMENT will be in Meyers Cemetery, Appleton City, Missouri.
MEMORIAL contributions may be made to the Family Love Fund.
George Jeffrey "Jeff" Kincaid, 51, son of George Bernard Kincaid and Martha Carol Greek was born August 31, 1962 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was one of four children. Jeff went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
Jeff attended school in St. Joseph and Gower, Missouri. He was a machinist for Double J in St. Joseph for several years until he found his love for working with wood. At that time, he began custom cabinetry and laminating. For the next ten years he did custom cabinetry and laminating in St. Joseph, Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri.
Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing, cooking his famous George's BBQ sauce and most of all, his family. Jeff loved life and wanted all around him to feel the same. He had a special way to make anyone smile and laugh. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, papa and friend. He has touched many through the years and will be truly missed, but as Jeff would say, "We will be together again. I will be waiting for you with open arms and welcome you to the wonderful eternal life with God and where everything is perfect".
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents and daughter, Megan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Darla; daughter, Elizabeth; step-daughters, Katie Bennaka and Misty Hughes; step-son, Joshua Bennaka; mother, Carol Greek; father, George Kincaid (Ellen); sisters, Christine Sahagun and Kim Farr; brother, Curt Kincaid (DeAnna); 13 nephews; 11 nieces; one granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; one step-grandson; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
