Freida C. Moulthrop, daughter of Elmer and Nettie (Schuttick) Calvin, was born January 28, 1916 in Linn, Kansas. Freida passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Clinton, Missouri.

Freida and Jack J. Moulthrop were married in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked as a secretary and in the greeting card design department for Hallmark. She was also an excellent legal secretary in later years. Freida and Jack moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1971 after his retirement where they remained for 13 years. In 1991 they purchased a farm in Henry County which they named Hilltop Farm. They relocated there to breed and raise Black Angus cattle. They were able to live their long anticipated dream for ten years until Jack's passing in 2001. Freida liked living on the farm and enjoyed sewing and needlecrafts in her spare time. She and Jack were crazy about their German Shepherd dog, Groff and black cat, Angus R. Cat. They enjoyed their companionship and the entertainment they provided.

Freida's last years were spent at the Westwood Golden Living Center where she ended a rich, long life at age 94.
