The VISITATION and ROSARY will be
at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on
Thursday, October 4, 2012 with
Visitation between 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the
Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

INTERMENT will be in
St. Mary's Cemetery,
Montrose, Missouri

Ruth Evelyn Bauer, 87, died October 1, 2012 in Appleton City, Missouri. She was born on October 28, 1924 in Buffalo, Missouri to Jesse and Mary (Cain) Propeck.

On February 25, 1946 Ruth married Walter Bauer at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montrose, Missouri. Ruth was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Altar Sodality. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, gardening and going to the car races. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter Bauer; daughter-in-law Ann Bauer; granddaughter Karla Bauer; and sister Thelma Allen. She is survived by her children: Mary Harris and husband Bill, Robert Bauer and wife Cathy, Rick Bauer and wife Joanne, Wally Bauer and wife Nancy; nephew Jim Propeck; grandchildren Suzy Shackelford and companion Matt Damaso, Jamie Iles and husband Brian, Joe Harris and wife Andrea, Amy Dymond and husband Neil, Becky Bauer and companion Robbie Hensley, Mark Bauer and wife Katie, Kelly Watson and husband Jon, Michael Bauer, Erin Bauer; great-grandchildren: Jessie and Kaylie Shackelford, Noah and Luke Iles, Colin and Cooper Dymond, Max Bauer; brother Robert Propeck.
