Evelyn Lucille Allinson, daughter of Alfred and Ruby (Schiereck) Schroeder, was born May 14, 1942 in Appleton City, Missouri. She passed away April 5, 2006 at Medford, Oregon at the age of 63 years.
Evelyn lived in Appleton City, Rockville and Jefferson City, Missouri, Kansas City, Kansas, Empire, California and Central Point, Oregon. Mrs. Allinson was a very active person, serving as a foster parent for 28 years, was president of the Foster Parent Association, president of the Downey High School PTA, served as a volunteer with the Salvation Army for 35 years and was active in various church groups. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Empire, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Roy Douglas and a great-grandson Dominic. She is survived by her husband Gerald of the home; two daughters, Cheryl Locklin and husband Randall of Rogers, Arkansas and Kimberly Winchester of Central Point, Oregon and a son Thomas Allinson also of Central Point, Oregon; three sisters, Linda Sabot and husband Bob of Arcata, California, Junie Stewart of Eureka, California and Jeannie Paulette Sutherby and husband Danny of Waterford, California; a brother Jim Schroeder of Lebanon, Missouri; 17 grandchildren: Christopher, Moramay, David, Sara, Candice, Travis, Joshua, Heather, Stacy, Daniel, Matthew, Ashleigh, Aaron, Rebecca, Austin, Michaela and Chloe; and one great grandson David Dean.
She will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
