VISITATION will be held at
the funeral home on Monday, March 11, 2013 from
6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
INTERMENT will be in
Appleton City Cemetery,
Appleton City, Missouri

Eva Kornelia (Davis) Knight, 97, was born January 28, 1916 to Perry Finley and Nellie Emily (Parks) Davis. She was most commonly known to many family and friends as "Nanny". She was born and raised in St. Clair County, Missouri. She married Ralph Albert Knight on October 26, 1935 and to this union, two children were born, Nathalie Ann Schooley and Jack Albert Knight.
Eva was a member of the First Christian Church and the Rebekah Lodge in Appleton City, Missouri. Her life revolved around caring for her family and gardening. She believed in a hard day's work and no one ever left her house hungry. Entertaining family and friends and playing marbles on Saturday night were common occurrences.
Preceding Eva in death include her parents, her husband, Ralph, four brothers, Bill Davis, Perry Davis, Vernon Davis and Jay Davis; two sisters, Eunice Williamson and Merlyne McConnell; and son-in-law, Roger Schooley.
Survivors include daughter, Nat and Joe; son, Jack and wife, Ann; sister, Joann Binegar; sister-in-law, Norma Davis; four grandchildren, Debbie and Ronnie Dains, Mike Schooley, Cathy and Chris Thompson, and Karen and Chris Green; thirteen great-grandchildren, Misty and Mark Long, Mendy and Jake Bowlby, Kristie Dains and Casey, Kalie Dains, Amy and Jeffrey Nold, Nicki and Straton Munsterman, Jesse Schooley and Jeni, Brandon and Dusti Thompson, Brian Green, and Carly, Jacob, Hallie and Tucker Schooley; eleven great-great-grandchildren, Tayton Dains, Jarret and Jace Long, Dain Bowley, Georgia and Ruby Schooley, Braydon, Austin and Kaylean Nold, Hayne Thompson and Braelynn Munsterman.
