The SERVICE for Mr. Fenwick will be held at Hill and Son Funeral Home
in Appleton City, Missouri on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.

The MINISTER will be Dr. David Maggi.

VISITATION will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, September 8, 2015
from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

INTERMENT will be in Appleton City Cemetery.

The family suggest any MEMORIAL donations be made to Clinton United Methodist Church.

Eugene Murray Fenwick, the first son of Murray and Edna (Ledbetter) Fenwick, was born April 28, 1926 at Humansville, Missouri and passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Appleton City, Missouri at 89 years of age.
Gene attended White Hall Elementary School and graduated from Appleton City High School.
Gene farmed with his father for a short time before attending the University of Missouri at Columbia, Missouri. After graduating with an agriculture degree, he taught World War II and Korean veterans "on the farm training" classes for several years in Adrian and Butler Missouri.
Gene was married to Naida Frasure in 1949 and to this union a son, Gavin was born.
Farming was Gene's special interest so he purchased a farm in Bates County. He and his family lived there until his retirement. After retirement, he moved to Clinton, Missouri to be near his son, Gavin and wife Sherri, and his grandchildren. Gene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clinton. Previously he had been a member of Ohio Christian Church in St Clair County and also the United Methodist Church in Adrian, Missouri.
Gene's favorite recreation was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. While in Bates County, he took an active part in the Tri-County Riders. His membership in the Messiah's Messengers Motorcycle Club of Clinton was important to him.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Naida; son Gavin and wife Sherri of Clinton; three grandchildren: Christopher and wife Liz of Raymore, Missouri, Cayton of Kansas City, and Maggie of Clinton; two great-granddaughters, Caroline and Annabelle; one brother Robert Fenwick and wife Arvella of Clinton; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
