Estella Ann Estep was one of two daughters born to Fred William and Phyliss Elizabeth (Moore) Henselmann, was born May 11, 1935 in Appleton City, Missouri. She passed away peacefully February 13, 2011 at Julia Temple Healthcare Center in Englewood, Colorado at 75 years of age.

Estella lived most of her life in the Appleton City area, graduating from Appleton City High School. She spent several years accompanying her husband to where he was stationed while serving in the military. Estella was a loving mother and grandmother. She liked to crochet, enjoyed flowers and loved to watch birds, especially cardinals. In 1982 Estella moved to Colorado and she was employed as an apartment manager in Aurora and then Denver. She had been a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church while living in Appleton City and she later transferred her membership to a Methodist church near her home in Colorado. Her son, Charles, became ill and Estella stayed home to care for him until his passing in July 2003.

Estella was preceded in death by her parents and her son Charles William Estep. Survivors include her son, Terry Henselmann and wife Sarah of Shell Knob, Missouri; five grandchildren, Amy Louise Henselmann, William Joel Henselmann both of Shell Knob, Jessica Elaine Henselmann of Concordia, Missouri, Jennifer Lynn Shuey and husband Russell of Warrensburg, Missouri and Theresa Marie Hayden and husband James, Sr. of Salisbury, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Jean Piepmeier; numerous cousins; and a very dear friend, Cindy Gordon who shared the good times and bad.
