Marie Motley, age 82, passed away November 29, 2008 at Westwood Nursing Center in Clinton, Missouri.
Emma Marie Bell Gardner was born December 12, 1925 in Eaton, Colorado and was raised in Lowry City, Missouri. As a young woman she helped in the war effort of World War II by working in the ship yards in Portland, Oregon. Marie was married to Raybourn Motley April 14, 1969. They owned and operated the Angus Motel for many years in Appleton City, Missouri.
Marie is survived by her daughter Ruth Mosher of Harrisonville, Missouri, her son Edward Parks of Clinton, Missouri, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and friends. Marie will be missed by many.
