Elsie Mae (Foster) Simpson, the daughter of Charles Henry and Ellen Gusta (Schneider) Foster was born on January 15, 1933 and passed away peacefully at her home on January 27, 2024 at 91 years old. She was born in Willow Springs, Missouri, and moved to California during the Great Depression. Elsie graduated from Diamond Spring High School in 1948. After completing her education, she met and married Kenneth Lee Simpson. To this union three children were born: Roberta, Debra, and Denise.

Elsie worked in retail most of her life along with raising her family. She dearly loved her family and was always there for them. Elsie will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Henry and Ellen Gusta (Schneider) Foster; her husband Kenneth Lee Simpson; several siblings.

Elsie is survived by her three daughters: Roberta Pettit, Debra Woodcock, and Denise Rivera; a sister, Doris Burkhardt; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; along with many more family and dear friends.
