Donald Gene "Pete" Wareham, age 74, was born in Clinton, Missouri July 4, 1935. He left this world Thursday, January 14, 2010. Pete was the youngest son of James E. and Laura Dena (Lowe) Wareham. He was the youngest brother to Bonnie Kampe, Edith Easter and James E. Wareham, also Pauline Cates and Louis Fetters both deceased. Pete was a long time resident of Appleton City, Missouri area.
Pete was a loving and devoted husband to Betty Jean Miller of Appleton City for 54 years. He was also a caring loving father to six children. Mary Elizabeth Reno, Bonnie Jean Noble, Donald Eugene Wareham, Paula Irene Gray, Lorin Lee Wareham and David Neal Wareham. Pete also had 20 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
Pete worked for 35 years as a mechanic at Zink Motor Company. He had a love for being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Pete most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Jeanne of the home; his six children, Mary Elizabeth Reno and husband Michael of Appleton City, Missouri, Bonnie Jean Noble and companion Bob Greufe of Montrose, Missouri, Donald Eugene Wareham and wife Rhonda Lynne of Appleton City, Missouri, Paula Irene Gray and husband Mark of Schell City, Missouri, Lorin Lee Wareham and wife Karen of Rich Hill, Missouri, David Neal Wareham and wife Kim of Lansing, Iowa; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one brother, James Wareham and wife Violet of Raymore, Missouri; and two sisters, Bonnie Kampe and husband Bob of Windsor, Missouri and Edith Easter of Clinton, Missouri.
