Donald Dwight "Bud" Heiserman, the son of Gilbert Christopher and Virginia Lee (Carrier) Heiserman was born on July 4, 1934 in Bates County, Missouri. He passed away on June 4, 2007 at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri at the age of 72 years.

Bud lived his entire life in the Rockville and Appleton City area where he farmed to provide for his family. He joined the Spring Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church early in his life and remained faithful until it's closing, after which he joined the Rockville United Methodist Church and remained active there the remainder of his life.

Bud was united in marriage to Bonnie S. Frost on April 4, 1954 at the Butler Presbyterian Church in Butler, Missouri. To this union four children were born.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, sister Helen Masoner and sister and brother-in-law Mary Jane and Danny Chandler. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, of the home son Dudley and wife Cindy Heiserman of Rockville, Missouri, daughter Denice and husband Mark Nitchals, son Chris Heiserman and wife Karen and daughter Diane Johannigmeier and husband Shawn all of Appleton City, Missouri, a brother Howard Heiserman and wife Dorothy and sister Wanda and husband Louie Rector, both of Appleton City, Missouri and a brother-in-law R.L. Masoner of Edgerton, Missouri. There are 13 grandchildren: Karen (Heiserman) Davis, Katie Heiserman, Scott and wife Stacey Heiserman, Ty Heiserman, Ryan and wife Kadeena Nitchals, Stacie McElwain, Rachel Nitchals, Heather, Hanna and Cole Heiserman, Laura, Paige and Jacob Johannigmeier, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Bud was a loving husband and father and greatly enjoyed his grandchildren. He enjoyed his vocation as a farmer and cattleman and liked to go to the sale barn. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and recently celebrated his 53rd wedding anniversary.
