Obituary

A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Mr. Erhart will be held at Hill and Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Missouri
on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.

The MINISTER will be Jerry Johannigmeier.

VISITATION will be at the funeral home preceding the service from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m.

There will be a PRIVATE FAMILY INURNMENT
at the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, Missouri following the service.

The family suggests any MEMORIAL donations be made to the Association for the Blind.

Donald Eugene Erhart, son of Carl J. and Ruth S. (Knierim) Erhart, was born in Appleton City, Missouri on November 24, 1940. He passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 in Appleton City at the age of 73.

Don graduated from the School for the Blind in St. Louis, Missouri. He later moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he worked for Alphapointe as a pen assembler for 37 years.

After he retired in December of 1998, Don moved to Montrose, Missouri where he could kick back and enjoy the country life and root on his favorite teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals. Don also enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family. In 2011, he moved to Appleton City, Missouri.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Erhart and Jim Erhart; sister, Jo Brinson; and niece, Christine A. Thomas.

Survivors include: niece, LeeAnn Lawrence; nephews, Michael Thomas, Robert Erhart, Jr., and Michael Erhart, several great-nieces and nephews.

Don's family has many fond memories of him, especially when he would always say "See Ya Later!"
