Mr. Bain's wishes were to be cremated. There is no service scheduled at this time. Condolences for his family may be left in care of Hill & Son Funeral Home.

Dennis Lee Bain, 75, son of Boyd Henry and Ruby Lucille (Rowland) Bain was born May 29, 1939 in Independence, Missouri. He passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
Dennis served his country in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage to Sandra Kaye Fouts on July 29, 1961 in Miami, Oklahoma. They lived most of their married life in Kearney, Missouri before moving to Pasadena, Texas, later moving to Appleton City where they have spent the last 20 years.
Dennis worked as a truck driver hauling freight for MS Carrier based in Memphis, Tennessee. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting pheasants and working on cars. He loved watching John Wayne westerns.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Sandra of the home; son, Dennis Berl Bain; daughter, Lindy Sue Porter and husband, Keith; grandchildren: Seth Eugene Porter, Kelshea Dawn Porter, Johnathon Lee Porter, Brandon Scott Porter, Dakota Ryan Bain, Sarie Kaie Porter, Jaxon Rain Porter.
